Tell us about your family.

I've been married to my wife, Collette, for over 12 years. We grew up together in the same church and are both pastor's kids. We have two boys. Liam is five years old, and Dylan is one year old. They're both strong-willed, passionate boys who are a ton of fun.

What do you do for the church?

I serve the church as the Media & Communications Pastor and oversee a super-talented team of creatives who produce the art, video, writing, and more for the church. I also do most of our content strategy, including the blog.

What hobbies/activities do you enjoy?

I love to read and write. I also enjoy playing and watching sports. Cooking is something I dabble in from time to time. And I'm great at napping.

What's a good book/movie you've read/watched lately?

I just watched Cold Souls, which was an interesting study in identity and what makes us human. I'm also currently reading Abraham Kuyper's Lectures on Calvinism and Darrin Patrick's Church Planter. Both are excellent reads.

Given the choice between a vacation in New York or a vacation in Yellowstone, which would you choose and why?

New York. Hands down. I love the hustle and bustle of the city...and the good food.

What's one album in your music collection that would surprise those who know you well?

Mandy Moore's Wild Hope. I don't even know why it's in my iTunes, honestly.
